Card Payments - Saving you money!

We often have conversations with our customers surrounding card payments and the cost of banking especially as high street branches diminish.

Current legislation prevents gaming machines from accepting cards and whilst this is under review the only get-around is to use an app that the player needs to first download to their phone, transfer funds from their card to the app and then from the app to the machine. This is far from straightforward and a costly process with high service provider commissions.

This week we spoke to one of our customers who has enrolled in a scheme provided by Barclays where they will pay businesses to provide cashback to customers called Cashback Without Purchase

Customers can withdraw any amount up to £100 and the business will receive a credit of 15p against their card processing fees for each transaction processed. This seems to be a win-win for businesses. Instead of paying to deposit your cash you can earn money and reduce trips to the bank and customers wishing to use cash can benefit from an easy-to-use solution which will inevitably drive up customer spending.
